A representative of women and girls’ grassroots football teams across the UK can apply on behalf of their team through the Kick On website during the entry window. You’ll need to provide basic team details, confirm eligibility, and submit your application before the deadline.
Entries open on 17th June 2026 and the application window closes on Friday 17th July 2026.
Each successful team will receive a full match kit package, including 16 shirts, 16 shorts, and 16 pairs of socks with sponsor branding applied.
There is no cost for teams as the kit cost will be split between Starling and a local business sponsor.
The package is designed to support a full squad and get your team ready for the season ahead.
Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every team that applies.

While you cannot select your sponsor, you'll have the opportunity to accept or decline a sponsorship offer. If you’re not successfully matched, we’ll notify you within 5 days of the end of the matching window on the 13th September 2026.
Once you apply, your team will be reviewed and included in the selection pool.

How will we use your personal data?
To participate in the Kick On programme with Gift of Kit and Starling Bank, your personal data will be processed as part of the application process.
Gift of Kit and Starling Bank act as Joint Controllers of your personal data for the purposes of administering the programme, matching successful teams with sponsors, fulfilling kit orders and reporting on programme outcomes.
Your information will be retained for the duration of the programme and for a reasonable period afterwards where necessary to fulfil kit orders, respond to enquiries, resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.
What data will we collect from you?
For this activity, Gift of Kit and Starling Bank will collect and process the following information when you register:
• Team name
• Contact name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Team and league information
This information will be used to administer your application, facilitate sponsorship matching, manage kit fulfilment and communicate with you about the programme.
If your team is selected, we will also share your contact details with your matched sponsor so that you can connect directly regarding your sponsorship.
Additionally, we may contact you to obtain your feedback regarding your experience with this initiative in order to improve our future programmes.
